"How Shall We Repsond Biblically?"
In this Black History series message, the sermon contrasts Jonah’s anger toward God’s mercy in Jonah 4:1–11 with Jesus’ command to love in John 13:34–35 and Matthew 5:44. While Jonah struggled to extend compassion to those he felt did not deserve it, Jesus calls His followers to love one another and even pray for their enemies. This message challenges the church to respond to injustice, offense, and opposition not through resentment or retaliation, but through Christ-like love and obedience.
